1. TERMS OF SERVICE
The following Terms & Conditions govern all sales and use of services provided by LeatherHood through www.leatherhood.com.bd and www.leatherhoodbd.com.
By accessing, browsing, or placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website or place an order.
LeatherHood reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. PRICES
All prices displayed are retail prices in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka).
Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include:
- Delivery charges
- Payment gateway processing fees (if applicable)
LeatherHood reserves the right to:
- Correct pricing errors
- Cancel orders placed due to incorrect pricing
- Change prices at any time without prior notice
In case of obvious pricing errors, LeatherHood is under no obligation to supply the product at the incorrect price.
3. PAYMENT
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash on Delivery (Inside Dhaka Metro)
- Advance Payment (Outside Dhaka or as required)
- Online Payment via authorized payment gateways
Orders will be processed only after payment confirmation (except Cash on Delivery orders).
LeatherHood reserves the right to:
- Refuse or cancel any order suspected of fraud
- Request advance payment at its discretion
- Cancel Cash on Delivery orders for customers with previous order rejection history
4. DELIVERY TIME & CHARGES
Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on courier service operations. While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe, LeatherHood shall not be liable for delays caused by:
- Courier service disruption
- Political unrest
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Public holidays
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Estimated Delivery Time:
- Inside Dhaka: 2–3 Working Days
- Outside Dhaka: 2–4 Working Days
Shipping Charges:
- Inside Dhaka: 70 BDT
- Outside Dhaka: 120 BDT
Delivery charges are non-refundable once shipment is dispatched.
For bulk or corporate orders, customers must contact us directly.
5. STOCK AVAILABILITY
All orders are subject to stock availability.
In rare cases, items may become unavailable due to inventory discrepancies. LeatherHood reserves the right to:
- Cancel any order due to stock errors
- Cancel orders due to incorrect product information or pricing
- Limit quantities per customer
If an order is canceled after payment, the paid amount will be refunded via the original payment method.
6. PRODUCT COLOR, MATERIAL & NATURAL VARIATION
LeatherHood products are made from high-quality cow leather designed to resemble crocodile texture.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Product color may slightly vary due to monitor settings and lighting conditions.
- Leather is a natural material and may show minor variations in grain, texture, or shade.
- Minor natural marks or variations are characteristics of genuine leather and shall not be considered defects.
- Leather products should be protected from excessive moisture and heavy rainfall.
LeatherHood shall not be liable for damage caused by improper care or environmental exposure.
7. SIZES
All product sizes are listed in centimeters (cm) or inches. Shoe size are universal.
Measurements provided are approximate and may have minor tolerance differences due to manufacturing processes.
Customers are responsible for reviewing size details before placing an order. Size preference errors by the customer shall not qualify as a manufacturing defect.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
LeatherHood shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Lockdowns
- War or civil unrest
- Government restrictions
- Courier disruptions
During such events, LeatherHood reserves the right to suspend or cancel affected orders.
9. RETURN & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Customers may inspect the product at the time of delivery (for Cash on Delivery).
LeatherHood does not offer return for change of mind.
Returns are only accepted if:
- The product has a verified manufacturing defect
- The wrong product was delivered
Conditions for return:
- Complaint must be made within 7 days of delivery
- Product must be unused
- Product must be in original condition and packaging
- Proof of purchase must be provided
Return shipping cost shall be borne by the customer unless the error was caused by LeatherHood.
LeatherHood reserves the right to reject return requests that do not meet the above criteria.
10. RIGHT TO COMPLAINT
LeatherHood provides a 7-day right to complaint covering manufacturing defects under normal usage.
This does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Scratches or surface marks after use
- Damage caused by misuse, force, water, chemicals, or improper storage
- Unauthorized repairs or alterations
- Size dissatisfaction
Upon approval, LeatherHood may choose one of the following remedies:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund (at company discretion)
- Any Compensation agreed by both side
The company’s decision shall be final.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of Bangladesh:
- LeatherHood shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the product.
- LeatherHood shall not be responsible for business loss, profit loss, or third-party claims.
12. PRIVACY POLICY
LeatherHood collects customer information strictly for order processing and customer service purposes.
Payment transactions are processed via secure payment gateways using SSL encryption.
LeatherHood does not store card details.
Customer information will not be sold or disclosed except where required by law or for order fulfillment.
LeatherHood reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy at any time.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on www.leatherhood.com.bd and www.leatherhoodbd.com including:
- Logos
- Product images
- Text
- Graphics
- Designs
- Branding
are the exclusive property of LeatherHood.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale use, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action under applicable Bangladeshi laws.
14. TRADEMARKS
“LeatherHood” and its associated logos are trademarks of the company.
Unauthorized use of our trademarks, brand name, or product imagery without written consent is strictly prohibited.
15. LINKING TO THIS WEBSITE
Creating links to LeatherHood websites without prior written permission is prohibited.
Framing, mirroring, or displaying our website content on other platforms without authorization is prohibited.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
