RETURN & REFUND POLICY

RETURN

The customer must need to return a product in front of the delivery man with a credible cause by paying the delivery charges. No request will be guaranteed after the deliveryman left.  If the fault is from LeatherHood’s side, then there is no need to pay the delivery charges.  


In exceptions (if LeatherHood considers them):
Our return policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase/delivery date, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused
  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it
  • The item must be in its original packaging
  • You must provide receipt or proof of purchase

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be approved by LeatherHood first.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Used products
  • Products damaged after delivery due to misuse
  • Minor natural variations in leather texture or grain
  • Slight color differences due to screen/lighting variations
  • Products returned after 7 days

LeatherHood reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these conditions.


PARTIAL REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition
  • Items damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 7 days after delivery (if exceptionally approved)

Approval of partial refund remains at the sole discretion of LeatherHood.


REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via phone or message regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed
  • The amount will be credited to your original method of payment
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refund will be transferred via bank/mobile banking

Refunded money will be deposited to your bank/card/mobile wallet used during purchase.

It may take 7–10 working days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account.

Delivery charges and payment gateway fees are non-refundable unless the error was from LeatherHood.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. First check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your card provider or mobile banking service.
  3. Contact your bank (processing delays may occur).

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded.

Sale, discounted, promotional, or clearance items are non-refundable, unless defective.


EXCHANGES / REPLACEMENT (IF APPLICABLE)

LeatherHood provides a 1-Year Limited Warranty on leather products under the following conditions:

If within 1 year of purchase your leather item experiences:

  • Stitching issues
  • Leather peeling or surface separation
  • Glue/adhesive opening

You may qualify for repair or replacement.

If the item is repairable, it will be repaired.
If not repairable, replacement may be provided (subject to availability).

Belt Warranty Condition:

For belts, warranty applies only to the leather portion.
The buckle (metal part) does not carry warranty coverage.


Exchange Conditions:

  • Exchange is only possible if the product is unused.
  • Replacement is subject to inspection and approval.
  • Only one exchange per order is allowed.

For any exchange, repair, or replacement:

  • Customer must bear delivery charges
    OR
  • You may collect from our physical shop (if applicable) at no additional charge

LeatherHood reserves the right to determine whether the product qualifies for repair, replacement, or rejection.


GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Once the returned item is received and approved, a gift voucher may be issued.

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser.


SHIPPING (RETURNS)

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to a LeatherHood error.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund amount.

Delivery time for exchanged products may vary depending on your location within Bangladesh.


IMPORTANT NOTICE

LeatherHood reserves the right to:

  • Inspect all returned items
  • Approve or reject refund/exchange requests
  • Modify this policy without prior notice

All decisions made by LeatherHood regarding returns, refunds, and warranty claims shall be final.
